At Barnowls Out of School Club we aim to provide a stimulating environment for all children to explore the Early Years Foundation Stage, whilst working alongside Weston Turville CoE School.
The Barnowls Out of School Club provides a fun environment for children to relax and play, giving parents the opportunity to have 'wrap around' child care before and after school.
After opening our Aston Clinton site in 2011 we were approached by Weston Turville to replicate the same service. Barnowls Out of School Club has been a great success since opening.
“Children’s needs before and after school are catered for very well in this welcoming setting. Children take part in a wide range of activities covering all areas of learning using a range of resources that mostly supports their learning and development. The setting demonstrates a good capacity for continuous improvement. Staff have attended a variety of courses since registration to update their own knowledge and the setting has established its own unique identity within the school community and local area.”

Our Staff:
Tanya Dawson - Manager
Tanya gained her Level 3 in Childcare and Education in 2012. Tanya spent some of her time as a student training at Barnowls Nursery. After leaving college Tanya worked part time in a local pre-school and part time at Barnowls Nursery. In November 2013 Tanya joined the Barnowls team full time sharing her time between the nursery and out of school club. Tanya holds an Early Years First Aid Certificate, Food Hygiene Certificate and is the setting's Designated Safeguarding Lead. Tanya was promoted to Deputy Manager in 2015 and Manager in 2024.
Jenna Hodges - Deputy Manager
Jenna joined the team in 2014, Jenna holds a Level Two qualification in Childcare. Jenna has First Aid training, Food Hygiene and Designated Safeguarding Lead training. Jenna works as a lunch time assistant at the school also.
Angela Pacey - Senior Playworker
Angela has worked with Barnowls for many years. Angela also works at the school itself as a lunch time assistant. Angela holds a First Aid certificate, Food Hygiene and has had Safeguarding training.
Sue Warman - Playworker
Sue has worked at Barnowls for many years, she has worked within the nursery and at our other club site. Sue holds a Level Three qualification in Childcare and Education. Sue has First Aid training, Food Hygiene and Safeguarding training.
